Easter Activies for the Whole Family With Forest Holidays
This is one for the whole family to enjoy. There are Easter Eggs which are delivered by the one and only Easter Bunny; exciting – we know. There is also Easter treats and competitions, and an experience your child will never forget – a chance to meet the Easter Bunny! There is also an Easter Quiz – one which we hope the adults will excel in. There are plenty of locations across the U.K, including the glamorous Forest of Dean; stay in one of their luxurious cabins for a cosy and relaxing weekend break.

Why not check out Prague?
If you love Gothic architecture, you’ll love Prague. It boasts old buildings which are incredibly famous and make for gorgeous pictures. Furthermore, those in the know say that some of the best beer in the world comes from Prague. Take a trip to Zlý časy in the Nusle district, and test the twenty-four taps which pour beers from different breweries both from Czech Republic and abroad – wonderful for sampling delectable new beers! Prague offers myriad activities for families with children, including the zoo, the Toy Museum as well as the famous Technical Museum.

BerlinWhy not visit Berlin?
Berlin possesses so much history and culture. Visit the Holocaust memorial for a sense of instability and displacement; the feelings of claustrophobia and terror grow on you which is incredibly fitting. Berlin is the home of absolutely delectable cuisine. The city has 4,650 restaurants and more doner kebab shops than Istanbul! It is rare to find a city which has embraced so many separate cuisines. From Croatian to Korean, you’ll be spoilt for choice.

If you’re a history buff, you’ll love Berlin due to historical elements from the Nazi era to the Cold War era. Some parts of the Berlin Wall are still standing – it’d be insane not to go and see this massive part of history. You get a real impression of how the East and West were divided. If you’re on a budget then Berlin is for you, boasting some of the cheapest hotels in Europe – perfect for taking the whole family to this beautiful city!

Bosworth-Battle-FieldBosworth Battle Field
Why not participate in educational yet fun activities? Visiting the historical Bosworth field where the Battle of Bosworth occurred is sure to please both adults and kids. There are plenty of guided walks and activities including hawk and owl shows – perfect for bird lovers. Whilst you’re in Leicestershire you could even visit Richard III’s impromptu burial site – the old car park! We would also suggest the Tower of London, or Bolsover Castle for a fun Easter Egg hunt!

LaplandEmbark on an Adventure to Lapland!
Why not try reindeer sleighing or snowmobiling? This is a one in a life time experience that you’ll never forget. The kids and adults will truly have a magical Easter! Lapland is a magical place and you really will feel blessed and festive. Lapland truly is one of the best places on Earth to spot the Northern Lights – a dazzling display – so be sure to visit the North of Lapland! Here at Shoetique, we suggest taking a ride with some very obliging Huskies – ideal for exploring the snowy surroundings.

Charlie-and-the-Chocolate-FactoryCharlie and the Chocolate Factory in Theatre
This classic is bound to bring a smile to the kids and adults faces with the magical recreation of one of our all-time favourite films. Road Dahl was a genius and his work will be cherished for many years to come. The classic film is showing in London and will make for a sweet night out. His Cheshire Cat smile is just the right amount of disconcerting and will leave you distrustful of Mr Wonka until the very end. Directed by Academy Award winner Sam Menders – you know you’ll experience a wonderfully delicious evening. Featuring a chocolate garden and an army of squirrels – you won’t believe it ‘til you see it.

Easter in the Caribbean
This is the best time to go and the right season to go. With the sun shining you will be warm and relaxed. For culture and boutique hotels along with fabulous cuisine, why not head to Jamaica. From rum on tap to jerk chicken, Jamaica is a large and diverse part of the Caribbean. From Dunn’s River Falls to stunning mountains and beaches – you will be spoilt for choice. Why not go all-inclusive and take the whole family for a stunning holiday that you’ll never forget.
